Partners in Health Agreement

Wellness Dentistry Network (WDN) was created by Doug Thompson, D.D.S. for the purposes of educating member dentists and to provide them with unique tools to create disease awareness, educate patients, assist with diagnosis, and to evaluate treatment and maintenance practices that achieve patient stability and health.  WDN methodologies are applied to seven key areas specific to dentistry which are: Gum Disease, Cavities, Environmental damage (abrasion, attrition and erosion), Bite Disease, Oral Cancer, Sleep Apnea and Appearance.  They are also applied to 15 other areas of health where dentists have a great opportunity to influence outcomes through collaborative referrals and coaching.  These areas are: Heart Disease, Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, Hypertension, Nutrition, Hydration, Stress Management, Exercise, Pollutants (heavy metals, mold, environment), Yeast Management, and Supplementation.  It is obvious that dentists can be valuable assets to the health care team but need collaborative input from professionals like you to further help their patients. 

Wellness Dentistry Network is asking you to allow your practice name, contact information and demographics to be listed on the Wellness Dentistry Network’s directory of collaborative health professionals.  There is no fee for this exposure.  This page can be found at www.wellnessdentistrynetwork.com but is only visible by member dentists.  The general public cannot see this listing, it is intended for member dentists only.  This listing is part of our “Partners in Health” page and is a way for other member dentists to engage your practice services.

All Wellness Dentistry Network, members strive to uphold the core values of honesty and integrity, compassion, positive attitude, continuous growth, and teamwork in their practice lives.  It is critical that the professionals we refer to, and receive referrals from, appear to the patient to be an extension of our offices. You are getting this agreement because you are highly respected or have treated, or referred, a mutual patient with a member dentist, and they feel you may be helpful to other patients of other member dentists.  In order for that to be possible, we need to increase your visibility by listing you in this directory.  Again, it is free, and a resource for our members to use when searching for collaborative help.

Your contact information and your area of specialty is most important.  If you do not wish to be listed, we would also like to keep your refusal for our records. We also will share another listing with you so you can see what information we need to list you.
